Faith Under Fire – Testimonies of Christian Bravery by Antoine Rutayisire

Faith Under Fire is a collection of stirring testimonies of survivors of Rwanda’s terrible massacres in 1994. Some of the atrocities are beyond description and media pictures too distressing to publish — such were the abominable sights. Yet God’s grace could be seen as Christians forgave the murderers of their loved ones, killers filled with remorse repent and walls of ethnic hatred crumble and fall. AE’s former Team Leader and current Board Chairman, Antoine Rutayisire, was moved to collect these stories so that such bravery should not go unnoticed. The book charts the rise of Rwanda’s conflict, the roots of unrest and points the way out of the ashes for the church and society.
